A serious situation regarding employees forgery?

I just found out from my notary that an employee of mine forged her name and seal for a doent I had asked the employee to get notarized while I was out of town. Now I had to withdraw my bid but I am hugely concerned because she had used a doent I had mistakenly signed and discarded. I am overwhelmingly concerned with what will happen to me. I have already terminated the employee responsible as well as the manager that was supposed to check the bid for completion before sealing. I want to make a police report but I don't know what the notary plans on doing. I want to make this right because the notary is a good friend and she feels like I betrayed her. The ex-employee is extremely terrified too. I am worried that if there is a charge the employee will take off. ANY advice please!
