9week old Guinea pigs?

I have two 9 week old male Guinea Pigs and I've noticed each time I'm in my room with them they're doing the pop-corn "Jumping and running round like nutters". Are they happy with me being in the room with them? Also When you stroke them they do this vibrating pur noise is that a content noise?
