Who else agrees that the Dominican Republic must close its border with Haiti?

Crime, disease, poverty will come to the Dominican Republic. This is why it is 4 hours drive from Santo Domingo to Port-au-Prince. As a person of Dominican ancestry I say keep the border closed and turn the Haitians away. Sorry, but I am thinking long term.
