Please help, burning sensation in hands, had tick bite..?

Exactly a week ago today I found a bullseye tick bite, we went to the doctor and she prescribed me doxycycl, it's an antibiotic. I felt fine. We went to the beach even though the medication says to stay away from the sun for a prolonged period of time. But I was careful. I stayed under an umbrella and lathered up on sunscreen but then while at the beach, and continuing for the next 3 days I've developed this sharp burning and tingling, but more so burning, sensation in my hands. I have to sleep with ice and constantly run it under water. I don't know if it's the medicine, or the start of Lyme disease? Please please help. Thank you.
