Why is Christine O'donnel wanting creationism taught in public schools alongside evolution?

Science observes the natural, and intelligent design creationism is not a part of the natural, nor is it observable, if I can't see the crippled hand or lying face of god, then as far as I'm concerned he doesn't exist, and no one has the right to say magic is as plausible as the natural processes in our world, do they?
