What do you think of TEXTSPEAK?

I do not know if it reflects anyone's mental state unless it is to demonstrate how illiterate and lazy they are. Text Speak only shows how the education system in this country has let us all down old and young alike. How can we insist that immigrants should learn how language so that they can become integrated when we continue to promulgate this rubbish way of talking to each other?
