He is leaving, what chances do we have?

ok, so long story short my bf is leaving back to his home country for a year, will the realtionship be okay, ofc we wont see each other, but we will talk about every day, we love each other lots, should we hang in there and stay committed or break it off, what is your opinion, btw this is a question, but the question marks on my computer are looking like this : � hahahaha sorry thanks if you put in your input
