Sounds like your friend is just jealous. As long as you're not rubbing all the material things you're fortunate enough to have into other people's faces, then it's not like you're at fault. I grew up in a family where myself and my siblings were well off and had everything we needed. It was because my parents went to college and worked hard to make the kind of money they do now. I never bragged to my friends about all the things I had or the big house I lived in. I didn't want to make them feel like I thought I was superior over them, because I wasn't. But unfortunately, those who have more than others are often times the object of scorn or jealousy. There's nothing you can do to change how those people feel. The best you can do is to make sure you're not intentionally trying to make people feel jealous of you and ignore the mean comments others might say to you.
